Epoxy impregnation causes delamination of the YBCO coated conductor during cooling down of the YBCO coil. Impregnation material should have weaker bonding strength than the delamination strength of the YBCO coated conductor. As the new impregnation material, we focused on cyanoacrylate resin.

A new control method of fixed energy storage system for DC electrified railway was developed which ensures that sufficient power is constantly supplied to meet the energy need of electric rolling stock, while the storage media is kept in the middle state of charge for the next phase of powering or regenerating.
