Acetylcholinesterase（AChE） exist in annimal nervous tissue and catalyze the hydrolysis of neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, to produce choline and acetic acid. Microbial AChE gene was identified, and the enzyme was over-expressed. It is possible to use AChE for the analysis of residual pesticides.
We isolated a useful yeast for the food manufacturing from Plum-Blossom in Iwami-Ginzan Silver Mine World Heritage Area. It is planned to contribute to industrial promotion of Shimane Prefecture by using this yeast in the future. This method is able to detect 24 target genes of foodborne Bacteria in patient fecal DNA sample within a few hours. In case of foodborne outbreak, the cost of Culture method and the labor is reduced by culturing the bacteria, which is suspected as causal bacteria by this method
Asian dust (yellow sand: Kosa) events are a frequent problem throughout Northeast Asia. Asian dust includes soil-derived metals, anthropogenic metals, and many other air pollutants at various concentrations, depending on the atmospheric transport route. We reported a correlation between adverse health effect and component of Asian dust. It is very important that we keep an atmospheric component under control. Here we suggest that method of create simple machine for determining component of Asian dust.
We have synthesized emitting color-tunable devices in the Vis region upon UV excitation. These materials are composed of rare-earth complexes dispersed in organogels. An advantage of using organogels as a hosting material is that we can disperse more complexes about an order of magnitude than conventional media, such as liquids. We speak English with fluency. We’ve discovered that ethanol-assimilating bacterium produced novel biodegradable polymer (BL58 biopolymer). The chemical structure of BL58 polymer was determined to be a carbohydrate polymer which is β-1,4-linked glucose and mannose as main chain and have some branches of 3-O-carboxyethyl rhamnose at 3-position of glucose residues. In this report, for the industrial application, large scale production condition of this polymer was investigated. Some physical properties are also described for industrial utilization.
Low cost UV LEDs can be fabricated by the coating of p-type ZnO nanoparticles on n-type ZnO films. It becomes possible to obtain visible light emission by adding nanoparticles with different optical properties.
