We propose novel contactless temperature measurement method using scattered light from the thermo-sensitive liquid crystal which is put on the object. The spectrum of the scattered light is homogeneous, the monochrome camera is available to detect it. This enables us to develop low cost measurement system.

We present ActVis, which is a computer-aided video surveillance system for detecting and visualizing the activation levels of multiple objects in a video. Lecture videos, medical inspection videos and other numerous videos are targets of ActVis. We have also made progress on click gesture detection from video captured by a wearable camera. Hand gesture recognition will be desired when Google GLASS appears, within a year.
